Vidyut Jammwal: Indian Actors Have Arrived Globally

Vidyut Jammwal believes Indian actors have successfully established their presence in the global entertainment landscape, crediting predecessors like Priyanka Chopra Jonas for paving the way. He stated that Indian performers no longer need to prove their worth in international productions, as their capabilities are already recognized. This marks a significant shift, with actors now being part of global projects based on mutual selection.

Jammwal is preparing for his Hollywood debut in the live-action 'Street Fighter' film, where he will portray Dhalsim. He was drawn to the role because of its strong character writing. The film, scheduled for release on October 16, 2026, features a notable cast including Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, and Jason Momoa.
