Victoria Jones, 34, was discovered in a hotel room at the Fairmont San Francisco. Emergency call audio suggested a suspected drug overdose. San Francisco Fire Department units responded to the hotel around 2:52 a.m. on January 1, 2026, and paramedics pronounced an individual deceased at the scene.
Records indicate that Tommy Lee Jones had filed a petition to place his daughter under a temporary conservatorship on August 7, 2025, which was granted on August 21, 2025. However, he later filed to terminate the conservatorship four months prior to her death.
Prior to her death, Victoria Jones faced legal issues. She was arrested in Santa Cruz, California, on May 14, 2025, and charged with public intoxication and resisting a police officer.
