13 Aug
Summary
- Vic Mensa addressed his public exchange with rapper Cam'ron.
- He emphasized distinctions between nationality, ancestry, and culture.
- The discussion stemmed from a comment about people in Africa.
Vic Mensa recently joined The Breakfast Club to address his public dialogue with fellow rapper Cam'ron. Mensa articulated his view that discussions surrounding nationality, ancestral origin, and culture often diverge, suggesting participants may not be on the same page.
This clarification arose from comments made on the July 15th episode of Talk With Flee. On that show, Cam'ron referenced an offensive remark by co-host Sen City, who allegedly stated that people in Africa smell bad after visiting the continent. Cam'ron clarified his own position, stating, "I'm not African... I fuck with Africans... I'm not African, bro. Sen went to Africa and told me people stink."
