Visual effects studio Resonance Digital VFX recently completed a demanding task, reworking nearly an entire film under an extremely tight deadline. The studio's founder, Abhyuday Grover, revealed that Baaghi 4 underwent a significant editorial change just 20 days prior to its scheduled release on September 5th.
Initially handling 1500-1600 shots, the VFX team was informed that 60% of the film's edit had been altered. This unexpected revision involved new shots, requiring the studio to finalize remaining original work and create visual effects for the substantially changed footage. The team ultimately delivered over 2400 shots, with the final shot being completed on September 2nd, mere days before the film's premiere.
Grover also highlighted other projects, including the creation of a salt desert sequence for Dhurandhar and work on international productions like The Sandman, Sena, and Mirzapur, showcasing the studio's capability in handling diverse and large-scale VFX demands.
