PR Expert Sumeran Shifts Focus to Documenting Rural Indian Heritage

P.R. Sumeran, a seasoned journalist and PR expert with 25 years of experience, has recently ventured into the world of documentary filmmaking. As of October 31st, 2025, Sumeran is now turning his focus to the heart of rural Indian communities, capturing the essence of village life and its historical significance through detailed studies of panchayats.

In his illustrious career, Sumeran has worked as a PR officer for around 200 films across various languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, and Marathi. He has also conducted interviews with more than 500 prominent personalities from the film, social, cultural, and political spheres. Sumeran has hosted several interview-based programs for various online channels and has authored numerous articles and features for mainstream media, as well as edited magazines and books.

Now, Sumeran is embarking on a new chapter, using his storytelling expertise to bring the heritage, culture, and history of Indian villages to the forefront through his documentary projects.
