- Shah Rukh woke up Jayesh from his afternoon nap to take the shoot
- Jayesh's creative idea for the Josh poster's blood drop became an iconic image

In November 2025, veteran celebrity photographer Jayesh Sheth recalled a hilarious encounter with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan during a poster shoot for the film Josh. Sheth, known for his work with Akshay Kumar earlier in his career, explained that Khan had a habit of arriving late to shoots, which everyone around him had grown accustomed to.
For the Josh poster, Shah Rukh was supposed to arrive at 10 AM, but his secretary informed Sheth that he would only show up around 2 PM. Sheth, who had been taking his afternoon nap, was surprised when Khan eventually arrived and woke him up to proceed with the shoot. Despite the delay, Sheth and Khan worked together to come up with a creative solution for the poster's blood imagery, which Shah Rukh had initially opposed. Sheth's idea of showing a small drop of blood on Khan's nose that he wipes off became the iconic final image.
The photographer noted that Shah Rukh was so impressed with the result that he invited Sheth to work with his production company, Red Chillies, anytime. This poster shoot experience showcased Sheth's adaptability and Khan's willingness to collaborate, leading to a memorable and successful creative outcome.
