The story follows Daniel, a Spanish writer who has a complicated romance with Andrea, an Italian man. When Andrea returns to Italy, Daniel is left heartbroken. That is, until he meets Maria, an Argentine woman trapped by societal expectations. The film will see both Daniel and Maria confront their fears and rediscover the courage to embrace their true selves.
The ensemble cast for "Me, After You" includes Alex Sorian Brown, Giacomo Rocchini, and Sofia Kunz. Navarro, who chose to shoot the film in Los Angeles, has described it as "a love letter to Los Angeles and to outsiders who come here seeking love, identity, and belonging."
