Veteran Actor Parmeet Sethi Demands Royalty from Kapil Sharma for Frequent Mentions

In a recent interview, veteran actor Parmeet Sethi, who played the villain Kuljeet in the classic film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', has jokingly demanded royalty from comedian Kapil Sharma. Sethi reveals that Kapil frequently mentions his name on his show, effectively making him a character without even being physically present.

Sethi, who has had a varied career spanning movies, TV, and direction, says he takes Kapil's playful jabs in a sporty way and is happy to still be "of some use" in the industry. The actor praises Kapil's witty responses and comedic writing skills, acknowledging the effort that goes into crafting such humor. Sethi himself has experience as a ghost writer, having produced a talk show with his wife Archana Puran Singh, where he would write or supervise her stand-up scripts.

Reflecting on his relationship with Kapil and his family, Sethi describes it as feeling "like home" - he calls Kapil and his wife Ginni "sweethearts" and says the entire family is "wonderful, very homely" and that they "love and respect us deeply." Sethi emphasizes that their bond goes beyond just work, cementing the familial nature of their connection.
