Starring acclaimed actor Jaime Camil, known for his roles in Jane the Virgin and Kimi, the film follows a widowed father who is encouraged by his nine-year-old daughter to reenter the dating scene after years of being out of practice. After multiple failed attempts with various suitors, the father realizes that love was closer than he thought.
Joining Camil in the cast are Natalia Téllez, Isabella Arroyo, Ricardo Polanco, and Verónica Langer. The film is directed by Alfonso Pineda Ulloa, with producers Laura Fernández Espeso, JC Acosta, Francesca Ricagni, Miguel Rivera, Francisca Barraza, Jacky Castro, and Elizabeth Suárez.
