Jess and Lisa Origliasso, collectively known as The Veronicas, recently featured in triple j's expanded Like A Version month, delivering a captivating cover of Sombr's track "12 to 12." The sisters lauded Sombr as a compelling songwriter, noting that the song immediately captured their attention due to its sharp pop craftsmanship and memorable melody. They found the composition particularly resonant, aligning with their own experiences as songwriters.

In addition to the Sombr cover, the Brisbane-raised duo performed their breakout 2007 hit "Untouched," a song that continues to gain traction on social media and streaming platforms. This appearance marked The Veronicas' official debut in the Like A Version studio, a notable achievement for artists who have been a significant part of Australia's pop music landscape for nearly two decades.

The expanded Like A Version schedule, which includes additional performances beyond the traditional Friday sessions, has already featured other notable artists. Earlier in the week, Turnstile opened the enhanced series with a rendition of The Stone Roses' "I Wanna Be Adored."
