Rs 26 Crore Deal for Varun Tej's Indo-Korean Film

Varun Tej is preparing for the release of his new Indo-Korean horror comedy, 'Korean Kanakaraju,' scheduled for August 7. Reports indicate that the film has secured a non-theatrical deal valued at Rs 26 crore, covering its digital streaming and satellite television rights. This substantial agreement could help offset production expenses before the movie reaches theaters.

'Korean Kanakaraju' merges Indian and Korean cultural elements. The teaser portrays Varun Tej as Kanagaraju, a character whose life takes a supernatural turn. Ritika Naik stars as the female lead, with Satya in a key supporting role. The film's second single, 'Rasaagummadi,' composed and sung by Thaman S, has also been released.
