Varun Tej's Hit Film & Future Mega Collaboration Hopes

Varun Tej is currently basking in the success of his recent Telugu horror-comedy, Korean Kanakaraju, which has achieved blockbuster status. The actor shared that he has consistently chosen diverse roles throughout his decade-long career, consciously working to prevent being typecast and to showcase his versatility across different genres.

Reflecting on his career, Varun Tej mentioned that the pandemic influenced his viewing habits, leading him to explore more serious films post-Covid. However, he realized the audience's need for entertainment and chose Korean Kanakaraju to provide a lighthearted experience. He also teased an upcoming sports drama titled Bhari, where he will play a volleyball player, produced by his sister Niharika Konidela.

Varun Tej expressed his admiration for his cousin, Ram Charan, viewing his success as an inspiration. He conveyed a strong desire to share the screen with Charan someday, describing him as a father figure. The actor also noted his own long-standing interest in directing films in the future.
