Beyond his work on the war sequel, Dhawan is preparing for the release of the romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, featuring co-stars Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur. The film's title is inspired by a popular song from the 1999 movie Biwi No 1. Originally slated for an April release, the movie is now scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 5, 2026. This upcoming project is described as a lighthearted story involving a protagonist who finds divine assistance in his romantic life after facing multiple rejections.
