Kalank, a period romantic drama directed by Abhishek Varman, boasted an ensemble cast and was reportedly produced with a substantial budget. Despite its ambitious scale, the film did not meet box office expectations. The story was set in pre-independence India and involved themes of forbidden love and communal tensions.
In contrast, the upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai promises a lighter tone, centering on a comedic love triangle complicated by a double-pregnancy twist. The film is produced by Ramesh Taurani.
