Vanna White Celebrates 43 Years on Wheel of Fortune with New Co-Host Ryan Seacrest

As of September 26, 2025, Vanna White is celebrating her 43rd season as the co-host of the long-running game show Wheel of Fortune. The 68-year-old television personality tells PEOPLE that she is "still having a great time" coming to work after more than four decades on the show, which she considers her "home away from home."

White has welcomed a new co-host, Ryan Seacrest, who took over hosting duties from Pat Sajak after he announced his retirement in June 2023. White praises Seacrest, 50, for his great energy and commitment to doing the best job he can. She says the transition was "flawless," and that viewers "get to see the real him" as he talks more and is himself on the show.

The two co-hosts have even developed a sweet backstage tradition, where White turns to Seacrest before they go on set and asks, "Do I have lipstick on my teeth?" Seacrest is always honest with her, and White has even gifted him whitening strips to help keep his teeth looking their best.

White calls Seacrest an "institution" and an "icon," and says she is grateful to continue working with him on Wheel of Fortune, as well as the show's celebrity edition, which returns to ABC on September 26.
