Val Chmerkovskiy Returns to DWTS After Suspension

Val Chmerkovskiy has officially returned to the professional Dancing With the Stars competition following a one-week suspension. This return comes after he was benched for a controversial social media comment made in defense of his wife, fellow pro Jenna Johnson. The comment, which referenced the 2022 Oscars slap, drew criticism, leading to Chmerkovskiy's temporary removal from the show.

During his absence on "Dedication Night," professional dancer Alan Bersten stepped in to partner with Jenna Dewan. Now reinstated, Chmerkovskiy and Dewan are gearing up for "Halloween Horror Movie Night" with an Argentine tango routine. The dance is inspired by the movie 28 Weeks Later, and the duo shared their preparation via social media, igniting enthusiasm among fans for their reunion on the ballroom floor.
