Vaazha 2 Trailer Drops: 'Premam' Reference Sparks Meta Fun

The highly anticipated sequel, 'Vaazha 2: Biopic of Billion Bros,' has unveiled its trailer, hinting at a narrative rich in friendship, family dynamics, and nostalgic school-life moments. Building on the foundation of the first installment, the trailer promises to deliver a similar blend of heartwarming and humorous content. A particularly noteworthy element is a meta-humorous reference to the widely acclaimed film 'Premam,' adding a layer of intrigue for audiences familiar with both movies. This scene cleverly integrates director Alphonse Puthren, who makes an appearance as a police officer in 'Vaazha 2,' into the film's narrative through a playful dialogue about 'Premam.'

The sequel sees the return of several prominent actors from the original, including Hashir, Ajin Joy, Vinayak, and Alan Bin Siraj, whose brief roles in the first film garnered attention. Their continued presence, alongside that of social media influencers, is expected to enhance the film's appeal, particularly among younger demographics. The Central Board of Film Certification has granted 'Vaazha 2' a U/A certificate, paving the way for its global premiere on April 2. Directed by Savin SA and written by Vipin Das, the film is produced by Icon Studios.
