Marathi Stars Urmila, Adinath Split: Net Worth Revealed

Marathi cinema's popular couple, Urmila Kanetkar and Adinath Kothare, have officially announced their divorce after 15 years of marriage. The pair shared a joint statement on social media, confirming their separation after facing marital issues for a prolonged period. Rumors of their split first surfaced in 2025, though neither party confirmed them at the time.

Adinath Kothare, a National Award-winning actor and filmmaker known for projects like 'Paani' and 'City Of Dreams', is reported to have a net worth of approximately Rs. 26 crore. His estranged wife, Urmila Kanetkar, an accomplished actress and Kathak dancer, is estimated to possess assets ranging from Rs. 15 crore to Rs. 20 crore, according to recent reports.

The couple, who share a daughter named Jija, have emphasized their commitment to co-parenting peacefully despite their divorce. In a previous interview from 2025, Urmila had mentioned their efforts to shield Jija from social media and excessive screen time. Adinath, in a 2021 conversation, described their home environment as a regular family despite both being from the film industry.
