Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar opened the night, performing Raag Yaman and honoring his guru, Kishori Amonkar, with a rendition of 'Mo Man Lagan Lagi.' He also presented a traditional drut bandish and a devotional piece, closing with 'Baaje Re Muraliya Baaje.'
Following Panshikar's performance, Padma Shri Ronu Majumdar took to the stage for a captivating bansuri recital. Majumdar opened with an alap in Raag Jhinjhoti, followed by his signature clear and improvisational Rupak taal composition. The concert was a testament to the rich cultural heritage celebrated by the academy.
