Mattel Inc. is introducing the UNO Championship Series, a new live-event competition that will be streamed on Twitch. This initiative aims to elevate the classic card game into an exciting, high-stakes tournament, highlighting its cultural significance and unpredictable fun.
Fans nationwide can participate in qualifying rounds, with in-person events scheduled in October in Kissimmee, Chicago, and El Segundo. Additionally, free weekly online qualifying tournaments via the UNO Mobile app are available from August 31st to September 27th.
The championship series will reach its peak with the UNO Championship Series Tournament on November 11th in Los Angeles. This global event will feature elite UNO players battling for the title and a grand prize of $50,000, live-streamed for audiences worldwide. To commemorate the event, UNO has also launched a new line of Championship Series merchandise.
