Last month, a group of 15 artists from 13 states across India came together to showcase their unique artworks at the Kala Yatra painting exhibition in Lucknow. The 3-day event, which kicked off on October 15th, 2025, featured a diverse range of creative expressions.

Sunil Jangid from Rajasthan displayed artworks made of limestone, sandstone, slate, marble, and teakwood, with one painting depicting animals, waterfalls, trees, the sun, and the moon emerging from the hair strands of Mother Earth. Tripti Seth from Maharashtra created paintings using cotton threads on cloth, stitching an illusion of ten freedom fighters in the form of a tree. Meanwhile, Pawan Saini from Meerut used acrylic color and a blade to create captivating mountain, rock, and hill pathway scenes.
