Undefeated Coaches Clash on The Voice, Chair Breaks in Excitement

The Voice's 28th season, which is currently airing in 2025, has been a season of firsts. Not only is it the first season to give host Carson Daly more power with the Carson Callback card, but it's also the first to feature two undefeated coaches competing against each other.

The two undefeated coaches are Michael Bublé and Niall Horan, both of whom have won their previous two seasons on the show. This has been a major talking point during the Blind Auditions, but now Bublé has added a new record to his name – he's the first coach to ever break his Big Red Chair.

Bublé's enthusiastic button-smashing during the auditions led to the chair malfunctioning and needing to be replaced. Snoop Dogg joked that Bublé was "probably too aggressive" with the constant button-pressing, while Horan demonstrated the correct, softer approach. Despite the chair mishap, Bublé remained in good spirits, joking with the crew about his excitement over the talented artists.

As the season progresses, fans will be eager to see if one of the undefeated coaches can maintain their perfect record, or if Snoop Dogg or Reba McEntire will spoil it for them. And who knows – maybe more chairs will meet the same fate as Bublé's in the pure excitement of the competition.
