UK Festivals Burst with Talent: See Who's Playing!

As spring unfurls, the West's vibrant festival calendar is taking shape with compelling artist announcements. Glastonbury Festival is observing a fallow year, but numerous other events promise a rich tapestry of musical and artistic experiences.
In Wiltshire, Womad Festival, co-founded by Peter Gabriel, will debut at its new home in Neston Park, Corsham, from July 23 to 25. This year's initial lineup includes notable acts such as Greentea Peng, Oumou Sangaré, and Barrington Levy.
Gloucestershire's Wychwood Festival marks its 20th anniversary at Cheltenham Racecourse from May 29 to 31, headlined by Craig David and the Kaiser Chiefs. The festival will also feature Sophie-Ellis Bextor, Newton Faulkner, Feeder, and James B Partridge, alongside The Levellers and tribute act Fleetwood Bac.
Bristol Pride is set to return on July 11, highlighting its renowned Cabaret Stage with performances from RuPaul's Drag Race stars Myki Meeks and Catrin Feelings, as well as Drag King performer Blü Romantic.
Additionally, Bristol Beacon will host 'Next Level' on April 17, an evening supporting emerging local artists like Badliana, TIA, and Kwazi, celebrating five years of the Next Level program. Further south, the family-friendly Valley Fest in Chew Magna, North Somerset, returns from July 30 to August 2 with headliners Friendly Fires, Big Special, The Herbaliser, and Cast.
