NBA Star Herro, Ex Feud Over Kids in Court

NBA player Tyler Herro and his ex-partner Katya Henry are currently engaged in a heated legal battle concerning the custody and financial support of their two minor children. The dispute began with dueling lawsuits filed by both parties.

Herro initially filed a petition to establish a parenting schedule and determine child support payments, stating he had been voluntarily providing financial assistance since their daughter's birth. However, he withdrew his case days later.

Following Herro's dismissal, Henry filed her own petition, seeking primary custody. She asserted a nearly seven-year romantic relationship with Herro and claimed to be the primary caregiver and decision-maker for their children.

Henry's filing also expressed concerns about Herro's "historical conduct," which she stated she omitted previously out of respect. She is requesting temporary and permanent safeguards to ensure the children's safety and well-being, noting a substantial income disparity due to Herro's professional basketball career.
