Billboard's 2025 year-end recap of the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart sees "Shake it to the Max" by MOLIY, Silent Addy, Skillibeng, and Shenseea leading the pack. This collaboration, boosted by a February 2025 remix, achieved a significant viral success, driving massive streaming increases. The track spent 27 weeks at the top of the weekly chart.
Tyla, last year's chart-topper, proved her enduring popularity by securing the No. 2 position with her hit "Water." Her song "Push 2 Start" followed at No. 3. Despite "Push 2 Start" having more weeks at No. 1 within the tracking period, "Water"'s sustained high performance across the year ultimately placed it higher.
Beyond the song charts, Tyla has once again been crowned the top U.S. Afrobeats Artist, defending her 2024 title. This marks the first time an artist has achieved this back-to-back accomplishment. Wizkid secured the second position on the artist chart, followed by Rema in third place.
