Twilight Star Pattinson Embraces Unexpected Joys of Fatherhood

According to a recent interview, Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson has experienced a significant transformation since becoming a father in March 2024. The Twilight star, who welcomed a daughter with his fiancée Suki Waterhouse, expressed his surprise at developing much more patience and a genuine enjoyment in caring for his baby.

Pattinson told ICON magazine that the experience of parenthood has been eye-opening, saying, "I have so much more patience. It's funny, it's not even patience; I genuinely enjoy hanging out with babies. That surprised me." The actor also noted the "gravitational pull" he now feels to wear more casual attire, like Patagonia puffer jackets and cargo shorts, since taking on his new role as a dad.

Furthermore, Pattinson revealed that fatherhood has reinvigorated his approach to his work. Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, he shared, "Having a baby gives you the biggest trove of energy and inspiration afterward. It's a different kind of energy." The actor explained that since his daughter's birth, he has been open to exploring more family-friendly roles in the future.
