Her grandfather, Gopinath, asserted that Ugale had no disputes with anyone and achieved her success through sheer hard work.
Contrary to initial reports, a close friend of the late actress revealed that Sanchita Ugale had been battling depression since January 2026. The friend also shared that Ugale had other unspecified health issues and had expressed suicidal ideations. A year prior to her death, Ugale had spoken about feeling disconnected from loved ones due to her extensive work hours, often between 17 to 18 hours a day.
Reports also emerged linking Ugale to her "Saajan Ghar" co-star, Ujwal Sharma. However, Sharma denied these rumors, stating that Ugale was in a relationship with someone else and was experiencing difficulties with her ex-boyfriend.
