Tumbbad 2 Finds Lost Props: A Nostalgic Discovery

The Tumbbad 2 production team recently unearthed original props from the first film during a location recce at the original shooting site. Among the significant finds were the moulds used to create the distinctive 'atte ki gudiya' and the film's original lock opener. A crew member described the discovery as a surreal and nostalgic moment, feeling as though the location had preserved these pieces of the film.

This discovery coincides with preparations for the sequel to the 2018 cult hit, Tumbbad. The original film gained a following for its unique folklore narrative and atmospheric visuals. The sequel, Tumbbad 2, is set to release on December 3, 2027. Expectations are high, particularly with the addition of prominent actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Alia Bhatt to the cast, announced in July.

Adesh Prasad is directing Tumbbad 2, with Sohum Shah leading the project under his banner, Sohum Shah Films, in collaboration with Pen Studios. The film's return to cinemas is highly anticipated by fans of the original.
