Tubi & TikTok Launch Creator Incubator for Series

Tubi and TikTok have joined forces to launch the Creatorverse Incubator, an initiative designed to foster the development of original series from popular TikTok creators. This partnership will invest in 12 selected creators, enabling them to produce 10 original shows based on their existing content for Tubi's platform.

The incubator aims to expand the horizons of these creators, offering them a pathway to develop ambitious long-form content. Kudzi Chikumbu, VP of Creator Partnerships at Tubi, highlighted that the program supports creators by providing creative freedom and resources to grow their work beyond previous formats and audiences.

The inaugural cohort features notable creators like Marc Sebastian and Kendria Bland. Among the planned series are "Kai Picks The Guy," a unique dating show hosted by Kai Cameron, and "A Great Australian Gay Sidequest," following Marc Sebastian's explorations in Australia.

Dawn Yang, TikTok's Global Head of Entertainment & Microseries, expressed excitement for the creators to bring their distinct perspectives to Tubi, noting that TikTok communities foster passionate engagement with creator-led storytelling. This collaboration offers creators new avenues to share their work with expanded audiences.
