Travis Scott Sued Over Alleged Miami Yacht Assault

Travis Scott is facing legal repercussions stemming from an alleged altercation aboard a yacht in Miami during June 2024. Yacht staff have filed a lawsuit accusing the 'UTOPIA' rapper of becoming violent due to intoxication.

The captain claims Scott became confrontational, allegedly threatened him, and even jumped overboard, leaving guests stranded. Scott reportedly fired a security guard who attempted to intervene.

Following the alleged assaults on multiple staff members, including a woman, Scott was apprehended by police. He was arrested for disorderly conduct around 4:30 a.m. and subsequently released on a $650 bond.

Scott's attorney, Bradford Cohen, has refuted the assault allegations, characterizing the situation as a 'misunderstanding.' Despite this, the yacht employees are pursuing damages for battery, assault, and false imprisonment.
