The Emmy-winning reality competition series "The Traitors" is launching its first all-civilian U.S. season, titled "The Traitors: New Blood," hosted by Alan Cumming.
Twenty-two reality newcomers, including an astrophysicist, lawyer, and content creator, will gather at a castle in the Scottish Highlands. They will compete in exhilarating missions to accumulate a prize fund potentially reaching $250,000.
Within the group of "Faithful" contestants, a select few are secretly designated as "Traitors." These Traitors aim to eliminate the Faithful players one by one under the cover of night. The Faithful contestants must work to identify and banish the Traitors before they are all murdered. If the remaining Faithful successfully unmask all the Traitors, they share the prize money. However, if even one Traitor survives until the end, the Traitors claim the entire $250,000 fund.
The new season premieres on Thursday, September 17, 2026, with two episodes on NBC at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Subsequent episodes will air on Thursdays at the same time on NBC, with next-day streaming on Peacock.
