Tracker Cast Shakeup: Star Reacts to Exits

Hit series Tracker is set to enter season 3 with a reduced main cast following the departures of three key actors. This marks a significant shakeup for the CBS drama, which premiered in February 2024 and stars Justin Hartley as survivalist Colter Shaw.

Previously, Robin Weigert, who played handler Teddi, exited before season 2. Later, Eric Graise (hacker Bobby) and Abby McEnany (handler Velma) were confirmed to leave before season 3. Executive producer Elwood Reid commented that actor availability is a common challenge, noting the introduction of Chris Lee's character, Randy, in season 2 to fill a similar role.

Reid also emphasized the show's commitment to unpredictability, stating that Colter Shaw's methods and team dynamics will continue to evolve. He suggested that characters from previous seasons might return and that the show aims to introduce more local characters interacting with Colter each week.

Justin Hartley, while typically private about casting changes, has shared his perspective. He highlighted the importance of Colter being affected by the people entering and leaving his life, ensuring character growth and evolution. Hartley also hinted at future storylines potentially tying into Colter's family background and government connections, suggesting a long future for the series.
