He sports a new appearance, including a bald spot and a poncho, and finds Buzz wearing the sheriff's star in Bonnie's room.
The sequel introduces a new antagonist, Lilypad, a tablet voiced by Greta Lee, who challenges the toys' roles with her own ideas about what's best for Bonnie. The trailer also highlights a shift in visual style, depicting Bonnie's imagination in a playful, illustrative manner, distinct from Andy's past imaginings.
Disney has announced an exciting new cast for "Toy Story 5." Craig Robinson will voice Atlas, a GPS hippo toy, and Matty Matheson will portray Dr. Nutcase. Conan O'Brien joins as Smarty Pants. Notably, Timothy Dalton is not returning as Mr. Pricklepants, replaced by John Hopkins. Keanu Reeves will reprise his role as Duke Caboom.
The film is directed by Andrew Stanton, co-directed by Kenna Harris, and produced by Lindsey Collins. Randy Newman returns to compose the original score, marking his fifth "Toy Story" feature. The trailer also teases an army of defective Buzz Lightyear figures.
