Toxic Advance Sales Soar Past ₹19 Crore

The action thriller Toxic, starring Yash, is creating substantial pre-release anticipation, evidenced by its impressive advance booking figures. The film has already garnered over ₹19.44 crore in ticket sales, including blocked seats, with advance bookings going live recently. The Kannada version of the film is significantly outpacing other languages, contributing ₹7.72 crore to the total advance collection.

Karnataka has emerged as the top market for Toxic's advance sales, generating ₹7.72 crore from 1.6 lakh tickets sold. Maharashtra and Delhi follow as significant contributors. Adding to the buzz, the film has been certified 'A' by the CBFC in India and rated 18 in the UK, reportedly due to its depiction of threats, drugs, sexual violence, and self-harm. Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 26.
