T.O.P Drops Solo Album, Charts on Billboard

Choi Seung-hyun, known globally as T.O.P of BIGBANG, has released his first full-length solo album, "TOP SPOT - ANOTHER DIMENSION." This highly anticipated project marks his return to the music scene as an independent artist after parting ways with YG Entertainment.

The album, which T.O.P described as a "gift to my fans," took a decade to create and blends music with cinematic elements. It features 11 songs and is presented as a 37-minute film that explores various genres according to his personal taste.

"TOP SPOT - ANOTHER DIMENSION" debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard World Albums chart on the April 18, 2026-dated list. This solo charting achievement is particularly meaningful for T.O.P, as it is the first release from his newly established independent label, TOP SPOT PICTURES.

Inspired by '90s hip-hop greats, the album showcases T.O.P's evolving artistry, with tracks like "THE GIANT" highlighting his vocal capabilities and "SEOUL CHAOS" referencing his art collection. He aimed to create an album that is both an auditory and visually memorable experience, akin to a collectible work of art.

Beyond music, T.O.P is expanding his creative endeavors, with plans for more music videos and potential future acting roles. He also expressed ambitions to nurture emerging artists and produce films through TOP SPOT PICTURES.

Despite a canceled lunar mission, themes of the moon and space remain influential in T.O.P's artistic world. The album's final track, "FOR FANS," underscores his commitment to maintaining a strong connection with his supporters, emphasizing sincerity and innovation in his ongoing career.
