Billboard's year-end charts reveal a significant concentration of high-grossing concert venues in major U.S. cities, with Las Vegas and Los Angeles leading the pack. Each city features 11 venues that made the cut for top earnings, showcasing their importance in the live entertainment landscape.
Las Vegas particularly stands out, with its iconic Sphere venue ranking first among those with capacities exceeding 15,001 seats. The city also secured the top spot for venues with capacities between 2,501 and 5,000 seats with The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. New York City also features prominently, with Radio City Music Hall leading venues in the 5,001-10,000 capacity range.
While Western hubs like Las Vegas and Los Angeles dominate venue numbers, a geographical analysis shows a broader distribution across the United States. Of the 116 U.S. venues charting, 63 are located east of the Mississippi River, underscoring a strong live music presence across the entire country, not just on the coasts.
