Magbitang brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles. Before her 'Top Chef' win, she held the position of executive chef at the renowned Chateau Marmont. She also led the culinary team at The Inn at Mattei's Tavern, Auberge Collection, where her work garnered recognition from the Michelin Guide. Most recently, Magbitang made history as the first female executive chef at CanoeHouse at Mauna Lani.
Originally from the Philippines, Magbitang relocated to the United States at age 17 to pursue her culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena. Her career has since seen her working in acclaimed kitchens, including the Michelin-starred Mélisse, A.O.C., République, and Bazaar by José Andrés. The representation deal with Buchwald, which has offices in Los Angeles and New York, and LTPR+, based in Nashville, marks a significant step in her professional journey.
