Mark your calendars: nominations for this year's prestigious awards are slated to be announced on Tuesday, May 5. This announcement follows the established eligibility cut-off date for the 2025-2026 Broadway season, which falls on Sunday, April 26.
Notably, fourteen productions are scheduled to open in April, with the season's final show, The Lost Boys, set to debut on the eligibility cut-off date. The highly anticipated 79th Annual Tony Awards ceremony is confirmed to return to Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 7.
This celebratory evening will be broadcast live to both coasts on CBS, and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+. The telecast is scheduled for 8-11 p.m. ET and 5-8 p.m. PT.
