TommyInnit Lands Sony Chat Show With Star Guests

Minecraft's most popular streamer, TommyInnit, real name Tom Simons, is set to host a new digital series titled "100 Questions with Tom Simons." This show emerges as the first major project from Sony Pictures Television International Production's nascent digital arm.

The innovative series challenges TommyInnit to get to know his guests by asking them precisely 100 questions. Once the questions are exhausted, the segment concludes. The show is slated for a launch next week.

Among the distinguished guests appearing in the initial series are actor Stephen Fry, physicist Professor Brian Cox, and popular creators such as Stampy, James Marriott, and Sweet Anita. Sony has described the series as a "repeatable, creator-led series built for digital audiences."

TommyInnit, who has amassed over 50 million followers globally and holds a Guinness World Record for the most-followed Minecraft channel on Twitch, expressed excitement about the project. He views it as an opportunity to step outside his comfort zone and engage in unexpected conversations. Sony's digital arm, led by ex-BBC Studios executive Matt Ford and former Channel 4 digital boss Sacha Khari, sees this as a significant step in developing original concepts for digital platforms at scale.
