Thailand Launches First Masc-Centric Beauty Pageant

Thailand is making history with the upcoming Tom Thailand 2026, the nation's first beauty pageant dedicated to uplifting masc-of-center lesbians, transmasculine individuals, and trans men. Announced on June 15, this groundbreaking event aims to provide a platform for communities often underrepresented, even within queer spaces. Bunnada Thippibal, also known as Phi Lek, is the organizer and owner of the pageant.

Applications for Tom Thailand 2026 are currently being accepted from individuals between 18 and 40 years old who identify as toms or trans men. Prospective contestants must submit headshots, a personal biography, and prepare a special talent performance. Judging criteria will focus on confidence, character, and self-expression, moving beyond traditional beauty standards.

The pageant is scheduled to take place in 2026, offering a significant opportunity to highlight the excellence of toms and trans men. This initiative follows Thailand's tradition of celebrating gender variance, though previous pageants have primarily focused on trans women.
