Tom Holland Enjoys Press for 'The Odyssey,' 'Spider-Man'

Tom Holland recently shared that promotional tours for his current films have been remarkably easy compared to his past experiences. He expressed that this ease stems from his genuine pride in the projects he is currently supporting.

Holland detailed in a podcast interview on July 22 that promoting movies he "really think[s] people should go see" is straightforward. This is a stark contrast to previous junkets where he candidly admitted to thinking the films were "shit."

The actor described the current promotional period as a "victory lap," expressing immense enjoyment and pride in both "The Odyssey" and "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." He highlighted that positive audience and critical reception for "The Odyssey" contributes to this feeling.

"The Odyssey," an adaptation of Homer's epic, is projected to surpass $500 million globally in its second weekend. While "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has not yet been screened for critics, Holland's previous Marvel installments have been well-received, and Sony Pictures anticipates strong box office performance for its July 31 release.
