As of October 1st, 2025, Tom Brady and Michael Strahan's production company, Religion of Sports, has announced an exciting new venture into the game show business. The company, which they founded with Gotham Chopra, has acquired the rights to develop a TV series based on the online sports trivia game Immaculate Grid.
Immaculate Grid, created by Sports Reference, has become a sensation in the sports fan community, amassing over 6.5 million users this year alone. The daily trivia game challenges players to fill a 3x3 grid with athletes who meet specific statistical and team criteria, testing their sports knowledge in a unique and engaging format.
Religion of Sports, known for its acclaimed sports and pop culture documentaries, believes the Immaculate Grid format can translate seamlessly to a competitive TV series. The game show will feature sports enthusiasts, celebrities, and athletes going head-to-head in trivia battles, putting their sports expertise to the test against the clock.
"Immaculate Grid is the online game to play if you're a serious sports fan. It's very challenging and very addictive," said Victor Buhler, SVP of Development and Production at Religion of Sports. "We believe the game can also become a terrific show, a future favorite for sports fans of every stripe."
This marks the first game show venture for Religion of Sports, which has previously found success with documentaries like Prime Video's "Built in Birmingham: Brady & the Blues" and Netflix's "Simone Biles Rising."
