Tom Brady Celebrates Son Jack's 18th Birthday, Reflects on Parenting

As of October 1, 2025, legendary former NFL quarterback Tom Brady, now 48 years old, is reflecting on his eldest son Jack's recent 18th birthday. Brady, who is also the father of 15-year-old son Benjamin and 12-year-old daughter Vivian, shares that he is "ready to kick [Jack] out the door" as his children continue to mature and become more independent.

However, Brady is clearly proud of the young man Jack has become. The seven-time Super Bowl champion turned Fox Sports broadcaster tells Us Weekly that Jack is a "great kid" and that he is constantly impressed by his son's "choices and his values and who he is." Brady also notes that other parents have shared positive feedback about Jack's character and behavior.

One area Brady is particularly proud of is Jack's responsible driving. As his son recently obtained his driver's license, Brady reflects on his own first car, a 1967 Dodge that "went very fast" but had its fair share of issues. Now, Brady hopes to help other drivers find quality used vehicles through his new partnership with Hertz Car Sales, which allows customers to browse, finance, and purchase cars entirely online.

Despite the bittersweet feelings of watching his children grow up, Brady remains grateful for the opportunity to be a father. He emphasizes that he feels "so blessed" and that his children "just always blow [their] dad away."
