Toby Kebbell Joins Prime Video's U.K. Crime Thriller 'Dirty'

Toby Kebbell is set to star in Prime Video's new U.K. crime thriller series, "Dirty." Kebbell, known for his work on "Black Mirror" and "War for the Planet of the Apes," will appear alongside Phoebe Dynevor and Samantha Morton.

The series follows Dynevor as a trainee detective who returns to Manchester to work on a homicide investigation. The investigation is led by her estranged mother, a renowned detective played by Morton. As they navigate their complex relationship, the trainee detective uncovers her mother's criminal activities.

Matt Charman, who previously wrote "Bridge of Spies," is the writer of "Dirty" and will also portray Ashley Rutherford, a wealthy property magnate partnered with Morton's character in both life and crime. Rutherford aims to expand his influence over the city's powerful institutions.

"Dirty" is scheduled to begin production later this year, produced by Binocular Productions in association with Amazon MGM Studios. Foz Allan serves as executive producer for the series.
