TV's Biggest Shows Debut at TIFF 2026

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) announced its Primetime program lineup for 2026, highlighting world and international premieres of anticipated television series. The festival runs from September 10-20.
'Yaga,' featuring Carrie-Anne Moss and Hudson Williams, will have its global debut as part of the Primetime section, which focuses on television programming. Crave will present the show, with AMC+ airing it in the U.S.
The program opens with Jesse McKeown's Netflix drama 'Below,' set in Newfoundland and involving a sea creature. It concludes with 'Carrie,' Mike Flanagan's adaptation of a Stephen King novel for Prime Video.
Further premieres include Shawn Ryan's 'American Hostage' for MGM+, starring Jon Hamm, and Brad Caleb Kane's 'Crystal Lake,' a 'Friday the 13th' prequel series from A24 for Peacock. The international premiere of the new season of Apple TV's 'Slow Horses' is also confirmed.
International series making their debut include '2.6 Seconds: Death in the Outback' from Australia, 'Alice out of France,' and 'Blindspot Berlin' from Germany. Brazil will be represented by 'Oxygen Masks Will (Not) Drop Automatically.'
