Among the latest additions are highly anticipated premieres, including Martin McDonagh's "Wild Horse Nine" and Werner Herzog's "Bucking Fastard." These films, which previously debuted at Venice, will have their Canadian premieres in Toronto.
"Wild Horse Nine" stars John Malkovich and Sam Rockwell in a 1973 spy thriller, while "Bucking Fastard" is a true story about twin sisters. Nanni Moretti's "It Will Happen One Night" also finds a spot, focusing on the intertwined lives of four apartment building tenants.
Additional notable screenings include "The Idiot(s)" with Aimee Lou Wood, Guy Nattiv's "The Liberation" starring Carrie Coon, and Michelle Yeoh in Bai Xue's "It's My Time." Cody Fern directs Naomi Watts and Sarah Paulson in the closing night film, "Closing Night."
