Terrence, who won an Oscar in 2021 for the short film "Two Distant Strangers," proposed to Mikalah in a surprise engagement in Miami in December 2023. The pair celebrated their engagement with a party surrounded by loved ones, including Mikalah's family members who were flown in for the occasion.
Now, the couple is eagerly looking forward to their upcoming nuptials in Dubai, a location that holds special meaning for them. "We're getting married in Dubai, so we're real excited. That was where we had our first trip and so we're bringing it back," Terrence shared. He expressed his excitement to finally get married, saying, "I can't wait to get married."
