Teri Hatcher Demands Honesty from Celebrities on Plastic Surgery

As of November 1st, 2025, Teri Hatcher, the former Desperate Housewives actress, has expressed her strong views on the topic of celebrity plastic surgery. The 60-year-old star has made it clear that she has no interest in undergoing cosmetic procedures herself, stating that she wants people to see "a real 60-year-old woman" when they see her on screen.

Hatcher's comments came during a recent appearance on the Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, where she discussed her stance on the issue. While the actress respects an individual's right to privacy when it comes to their personal choices, she believes that famous people have a responsibility to be truthful about any cosmetic work they have had done.

According to Hatcher, when celebrities lie about their plastic surgery, it can make the rest of us feel bad about ourselves. "When you're famous and you lie, you're sort of making the rest of us feel bad about ourselves," she explained. "Because we look at you and we go, 'I guess I'm not drinking enough water.' And that is unfair."

The actress went on to say that she has "no judgement about how anybody feels good about themselves in their life," but she wants people to be honest about what they've had done.
