Teja Sajja's Mirai Slows Down, Unlikely to Hit 150 Crore Worldwide
29 Sep, 2025
Summary
- Mirai has grossed 133.25 crore worldwide in over 2 weeks
- Film is 5th highest-grossing Telugu movie of 2025, aims for 4th spot
- Overseas collection of 32.6 crore, unlikely to reach 150 crore total

As of September 29th, 2025, Teja Sajja's superhero film Mirai has slowed down at the box office and is unlikely to reach the coveted 150 crore worldwide mark. The film, which had a phenomenal run in its initial weeks, has now entered the final leg of its theatrical journey.
In just over 2 weeks, Mirai has amassed a total gross collection of 133.25 crore globally. This impressive performance has catapulted the film into the top 5 highest-grossing Telugu movies of 2025. To climb one spot higher and claim the 4th position, Mirai needs to surpass the 138.85 crore lifetime collection of Kuberaa.
However, the film's pace has significantly slowed down in recent days. Its overseas box office collection stands at 32.6 crore in 16 days, indicating that the 150 crore milestone is now out of reach. Hitting the lifetime gross of HanuMan, which stands at 294.18 crore, also seems impossible for Mirai at this stage.
Unless the film sees a surprising resurgence in the coming week, Teja Sajja's superhero fantasy drama is expected to end its theatrical run as the 5th highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025 at the worldwide box office. It may, however, manage to overtake Kuberaa and claim the 4th spot, but the top 3 positions, led by Ram Charan's Game Changer, remain out of reach.
