Swift Skips Chiefs Game for Oscar Dream
18 Oct
Summary
- Taylor Swift will miss a Chiefs home game for an event.
- She is reportedly prioritizing an Oscar win over Kelce.
- The event conflicts with the Chiefs vs. Chargers game.
Taylor Swift is reportedly set to miss an upcoming Kansas City Chiefs home game on October 17, opting instead to attend the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles. This will be the first Chiefs home game she has missed since December 2024. Sources close to Swift indicate her focus is on her career, specifically pursuing an Oscar, rather than attending the game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
This absence follows recent attention surrounding her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who had publicly supported comedian Shane Gillis. Gillis's controversial remarks on Saturday Night Live have drawn criticism. Swift has not publicly commented on Kelce's actions, and the couple is reportedly taking some time apart as Swift concentrates on her career ambitions, including her pursuit of an Academy Award.
